About Us
The 8th annual "Sterling Hell Haunted Mine" launched in 2017 as a fundraising event for the Ogdensburg school's 8th-grade graduating class. This event is set up, managed, and "executed" by an all-volunteer crew of parents, students, community members, and mine employees for a great cause!
Due in large part to the massive volunteer effort, we have managed to keep costs around half of what other haunted events charge, and we give you so much more!
Like last year, we are building on that tradition, and we have invited the Wallkill High School Theatre Arts Club once again to be a part of this amazing event! Who better?
Not only does this fundraiser support the eighth-grade class trip to Boston, but it will also help fund the Theatre Arts group's amazing productions. All of these kids put in a ton of work to bring you something very special, so please support them and make this a Halloween tradition for you and your family!

- Dates: October 24 & 25, 2025
- 5:00-5:50 PM: "Scary but not too scary" tours for the younger kids (and the faint of heart)
- 6:00-10:10 PM: "Spine-tingling terror" tour for those brave enough to venture in!
- Adult Admission: $22
- Child Admission (12 and under): $15
All sales are final. There are no refunds.

A: Yes. The haunted mine tour is mostly underground!

A: Each tour takes approximately 30-40 minutes.
